Monomoy Little League Baseball (MLL) is excited to announce the 2019 rosters of 13 teams that will compete this spring in three divisions (A, AA and Majors). The MLL Board of Directors met on Thursday evening, along with coaches from the Majors division, for the League’s first ever draft, followed by the selections of A and AA divisions. “Our three divisions, A, AA & Majors are well represented this season,” President Mark Haley said. “As a Board we feel the teams will be competitive, fair and fun for all of our participants this season!” “Hosting the first ever Majors division draft was such an exciting and fun way to involve the coaches, who are the cornerstone of the success within our league,” said Haley. “All we need now is for a little warm spring weather and we can start playing baseball again!”
Monomoy Little League head coaches will be reaching out in the coming weeks to their teams, welcoming them and confirming players information as they begin to plan practices and games that are slated to begin in April. The MLL Board will be meeting next week for their monthly board meeting to continue planning for the season. CPR classes, coaches clinics, team schedules, uniforms, umpires, league rules, along with many other items are being ironed out in order to have a great season of community baseball in Harwich and Chatham for 2019.
